Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of backend design and data modeling in SQL/Postgres.
- Experience writing reliable tests with tools such as Vitest, Cypress, or Jest.
- Ability to manage time and deliver on ambiguous problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with AI SDKs (OpenAI, Anthropic) in production is a plus.
- Experience building or maintaining HIPAA-compliant or regulated healthcare software is a plus.
- Comfortable with monorepo environments.
- Familiarity with internal tooling such as Retool.
Responsibilities
- Own features end-to-end from design discussion to production rollout and monitoring.
- Ship TypeScript code for web apps, Node/Express backends, and mobile applications.
- Design and build fault-tolerant, HIPAA-compliant services focusing on privacy and security.
- Document work to ensure team efficiency.
- Utilize AI tools and SDKs to build AI-enriched features.
