Requirements
- Prior experience as an early security hire (first 1-3) at a SaaS or data infrastructure company.
- Deep expertise in securing multi-tenant platforms, including tenant isolation and authorization models.
- Strong background in distributed systems design and security.
- Experience with cloud security across multi-cloud environments.
- Proficiency in reading application code and performing threat modeling.
- Experience in design and build of data infrastructure from an early stage.
- Knowledge of privacy-adjacent security, including PII handling, data residency, and GDPR/CCPA technical controls.
- Demonstrated ability to ship production security fixes.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end application security posture.
- Implement multi-tenant isolation within systems handling 1M+ daily syncs and 100K+ events/sec.
- Develop and manage sub-tenant access control models for multi-team and multi-brand use cases.
- Perform threat modeling and architecture hardening for new products.
- Improve security for high-throughput, internet-facing APIs, focusing on rate limiting and abuse detection.
- Support security requirements for multi-region and multi-cloud backend expansion and data residency.
