Requirements
- Licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner in KY
- Able to practice independently without supervision in the state of licensure
- Hold an active DEA license in state of licensure
- Hold an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner certification issued by the ANCC
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive, flexible, and solution-focused attitude
- Ability to quickly synthesize medical and psychiatric data
- Passionate about improving perinatal and perimenopause mental healthcare delivery
- Experience or interest in perinatal or perimenopause mental health and collaborative care
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits via telehealth for perinatal and perimenopausal patients.
- Provide treatment recommendations for patients requiring intensive or specialized care.
- Perform pre-conception medication consultation and psycho-education.
- Conduct asynchronous caseload consultations by reviewing clinical information and medical records.
- Provide recommendations for treatment adjustments for patients not improving as expected.
- Complete clinical documentation within 24 hours of visits.
- Collaborate with care managers to track and prioritize patient caseloads using the internal registry.
- Provide educational support to the care team regarding behavioral health management.
- Provide ad-hoc consultations to OB providers via telephone, email, or telehealth during business hours.
