Requirements
- Experience shipping production AI/ML systems at scale, focusing on real-world tradeoffs including edge cases, quality, latency, cost, and reliability.
- Fluency in generative/agentic AI (multi-agent orchestration, tool calling, RAG) using modern stacks like LangGraph or LangChain.
- Fluency in applied ML/decision intelligence (forecasting, optimization, matching, allocation, ranking).
- Experience designing and implementing evaluation strategies, including online/offline testing, shadow mode, and drift monitoring.
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern API services such as FastAPI.
- Deep understanding of ML-systems architecture and hands-on production experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly, lead technical work independently, and make quick, decisive decisions.
- Strong ownership of high-stakes, operationally complex AI environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship production AI systems, including multi-agent orchestration and routing to deliver reliable outcomes.
- Automate complex operational tasks such as onboarding, support, and document understanding to improve process efficiency.
- Build forecasting, prediction, matching, allocation, and optimization models exposed as services.
- Design learning loops and infrastructure to ensure models improve based on outcome data.
- Own AI reliability, including building evaluation harnesses, observability, and guardrails to manage operational risk.
- Determine build-vs-rules strategy to select the most effective technical solutions.
- Mentor engineers and advance the team's prototyping-to-production pipeline.
