Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related work experience
- 3+ years development experience in an enterprise environment
- 2+ years security, risk, or compliance experience
- Strong knowledge of security tools and best practices
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Experience with SAST and DAST methodologies
- Knowledge of container security tools
- Proficiency with scripting and automation languages
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Crossplane
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Gitlab, Github, Circle CI, Travis CI, Argo CD, or Azure DevOps
- Security and DevOps certifications are strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with the InfoSec, SRE, and Engineering teams
- Monitor and mitigate current vulnerabilities in the DevOps space
- Analyze code and repositories for insecure coding practices and facilitate remediation
- Collaborate with InfoSec to create and maintain Secure SDLC training
- Perform security-based QA on pre-deployment packages
- Conduct dynamic and static code testing
- Conduct pre-project risk assessments with Compliance and Engineering teams
- Integrate security checks within CI/CD pipelines
- Develop automation scripts for vulnerability scanning, patch management, and incident response
- Lead security training and awareness programs for engineering teams
