Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance.
- At least three years of hands-on experience implementing systems like UNIX and Windows.
- Experience in designing, installing, integrating, and testing systems.
- Strong understanding of applications such as Oracle and Relativity.
- At least one year of experience setting up large-scale database management applications.
- Proficiency in MS Windows environments.
- Knowledge of storage technology planning, capacity modeling, and distributed processing.
- In-depth knowledge of government IT environments and security requirements (NIST, E-Gov, FIPS, FISMA, and DOJ regulations).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Undergraduate degree in computer science or management information/technology preferred.
- CNE certification highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain IT systems for automated litigation support.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize server and system performance.
- Perform scheduled system backups and manage disk space allocation.
- Assign user IDs, passwords, and provide IT consulting support to users.
- Implement and enforce system, facility, and data security measures including patch management and disaster recovery.
- Administer hardware, operating systems, databases, and application software.
- Coordinate with COR and DOJ technical staff on system issues.
- Develop tools for system-wide application use and prepare system documentation.
