Requirements
- 4+ years of professional mechanical engineering design experience.
- Proven experience with hands-on CFD modeling and simulation for mission-critical projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and energy codes.
- Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Cadence, BIM and Revit.
- Experience working independently and managing priorities.
- Strong strategic thinking and flexibility.
- Self-motivated with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Valid EIT Certification or Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Independently drive projects forward throughout design and construction phases.
- Design mechanical and plumbing systems for data centers.
- Oversee the production of all mechanical designs, systems and drawings.
- Work amongst a cross-discipline design team, owners, and contractors to develop drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with external vendors, internal design teams and manufacturers.
- Perform major equipment selection and scheduling.
