Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, financial crime, or AML operations within fintech, payments, or financial services.
- Strong hands-on experience with transaction monitoring systems and compliance reporting tools.
- Proven ability to scale or operate compliance programs in high-growth or regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of AML/BSA, KYC, CFT frameworks, and regulatory compliance obligations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, and global cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail and risk identification.
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where processes are still being defined.
- Experience with cross-border payments, FX systems, stablecoins, or digital asset-adjacent businesses strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end AML/CFT processes including KYC/B onboarding, transaction monitoring, and screening workflows.
- Configure, optimize, and maintain transaction monitoring rules for cross-border payments and stablecoin-related activity.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping, data retention, and reporting in alignment with global regulatory requirements.
- Detect, investigate, escalate, and document suspicious activity in accordance with AML/BSA and regulatory obligations.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate compliance requirements into platform design and system workflows.
- Support regulatory audits, bank examinations, and internal compliance reviews with accurate data and documentation.
- Assist in developing and refining operational procedures across payments, treasury, and vendor integrations.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the compliance framework as the product and regulatory landscape evolves.
