Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual QA, with a strong focus on web applications.
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies including test planning, test case design, exploratory testing, and regression testing.
- Proven ability to perform structured bug reporting and defect documentation.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and product teams in Agile environments.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for issue isolation.
- Excellent written communication skills for documentation.
- Proficiency with defect tracking and project management tools such as Jira or Linear.
- Experience using browser developer tools for debugging and validation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases covering functional, regression, exploratory, and edge-case scenarios for web-based applications.
- Perform hands-on manual testing across multiple browsers and devices to validate features, bug fixes, and product releases.
- Identify, reproduce, isolate, and document defects with clear, structured reporting.
- Maintain and improve QA documentation, including test cases, regression suites, and release validation summaries.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer support teams for issue triage and resolution.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Execute regression testing and release validation cycles to ensure product readiness.
- Improve QA processes and test coverage to enhance product delivery efficiency.
