Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in project management, construction, real estate, architecture, or engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Postsecondary education in Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering, or Project Management is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction project lifecycle, including budgeting, scheduling, and technical execution.
- Experience working in commercial real estate, construction, or architectural environments is required.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, including drawings and space planning concepts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to travel and adapt work schedules as needed based on project demands.
- Collaborative mindset with strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee multiple concurrent projects across different phases of development, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
- Define and develop project scope, schedules, and execution plans while identifying risks, constraints, and mitigation strategies.
- Lead project meetings, document discussions, and ensure effective follow-up on actions and deliverables.
- Coordinate and manage vendor procurement processes, including RFP tracking, contractor engagement, and subcontractor oversight.
- Monitor project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and reporting to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, reporting tools, and governance records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate and negotiate with architects, contractors, consultants, and client representatives to ensure successful execution.
- Proactively manage project risks, resolve issues, and ensure timely escalation when required.
- Support internal teams in achieving performance targets, operational efficiency, and margin objectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and assist in training and mentoring team members.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards, and industry best practices across all project activities.
