Requirements
- 1-3 years of successful sales experience OR success as a Staples B2B Sales Associate.
- 3+ years of experience in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proven track record of business development.
- Strong consultative, solution, and insight selling skills.
- Advanced negotiation and client management skills.
- Strong business, financial, operations, and technology acumen.
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations virtually and in person.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of CRM tools preferred.
- Industry knowledge preferred.
Responsibilities
- Hunt for and prospect net new small to medium business customers within defined territory.
- Ramp and onboard newly won accounts to expand the customer base.
- Set a required number of appointments each week with decision makers.
- Communicate Staples value propositions, capabilities, and product assortments.
- Overcome objections and close sales using consultative and insight selling techniques.
- Utilize prescribed sales tools to prioritize activities, document engagement, and drive efficiency.
- Partner with internal customer support teams and category specialists to progress deals.
