Requirements

  • 1-3 years of successful sales experience OR success as a Staples B2B Sales Associate.
  • 3+ years of experience in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proven track record of business development.
  • Strong consultative, solution, and insight selling skills.
  • Advanced negotiation and client management skills.
  • Strong business, financial, operations, and technology acumen.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations virtually and in person.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools preferred.
  • Industry knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt for and prospect net new small to medium business customers within defined territory.
  • Ramp and onboard newly won accounts to expand the customer base.
  • Set a required number of appointments each week with decision makers.
  • Communicate Staples value propositions, capabilities, and product assortments.
  • Overcome objections and close sales using consultative and insight selling techniques.
  • Utilize prescribed sales tools to prioritize activities, document engagement, and drive efficiency.
  • Partner with internal customer support teams and category specialists to progress deals.
