Requirements

  • 1–3 years of successful sales experience or prior success as a Staples B2B Sales Associate.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop, and close sales opportunities.
  • Experience working in a goal-oriented or competitive sales environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to be coached and apply feedback to improve performance.
  • Professional communication skills and customer-facing presence.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred).
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) (Preferred).
  • Industry knowledge within B2B sales environments (Preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and win new small-to-medium business customers within a defined territory.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline through proactive outreach using phone, video, face-to-face meetings, and digital tools.
  • Set and conduct appointments with key decision-makers to uncover business needs and position solutions.
  • Apply consultative selling techniques to identify opportunities and recommend customized product and service solutions.
  • Utilize CRM and sales tools (e.g., SFDC, Tenfold) to optimize productivity and track activity.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to close deals and ensure successful onboarding.
  • Onboard and ramp newly won accounts to drive adoption, retention, and long-term growth.
