Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or related program
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- LBA Certification
- Minimum of one year working after BCBA certification (preferred)
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Fluency in Spanish
- Ability to utilize the principles of ABA to influence socially important behavior
- Ability to work in a team-based approach to reduce problem behaviors
- Ability to multi-task
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and write reports summarizing results
- Develop positive behavior support plans
- Oversee implementation of treatment plans
- Assist staff in day-to-day training for targeted behavioral needs and implementing behavior support plans
- Train staff to implement strategies to prevent occurrence of target behaviors and de-escalation strategies
- Provide ongoing monitoring of data and make programming adjustments as needed
