Strong video editing skills across both short-form vertical and long-form horizontal formats.
Working command of AI video and image tools (Midjourney, Runway, Pika, Leonardo, Sora, Kling, or comparable).
Proven ability to produce 3D-style animated scenes within provided creative parameters.
Portfolio demonstrating both editing work and AI animation work.
Demonstrated ability to edit fast-paced, retention-driven vertical content.
Track record of returning projects on realistic, assigned deadlines.
Strong instincts for sound quality and creating accurate captions for short-form video.
Clear understanding of hooks, high-retention narrative structure, and what makes short-form content travel.
Experience producing content in an educational niche (health, science, finance, history, or similar).
Comfort working asynchronously on a fully remote team.
Reliably meeting team timelines.
Reliable high-speed internet and quiet workspace.

Responsibilities

Edit 15–20 educational YouTube Shorts per week, from raw footage through final export.
Edit long-form YouTube content with strong narrative structure and visual storytelling.
Create AI-generated 3D-style animated scenes that illustrate health concepts for both Shorts and long-form videos.
Craft hook-first openings, retention-optimized pacing, and sound design.
Design captions that read clearly on mobile and reinforce the educational message.
Collaborate with YouTube and content teams to iterate on creative output.
