Requirements
- 3+ years of experience engineering software with a focus on machine learning and natural language processing.
- In-depth understanding of LLM architectures, context window mechanics, and semantic search.
- Proven experience building and operating production AI systems, including monitoring and evaluation.
- Exceptional Python coding skills.
- Proficiency in querying and structuring data with SQL.
- Hands-on experience deploying ML or API services within cloud ecosystems, preferably AWS.
- Ability to reason about tradeoffs between quality, latency, cost, and reliability.
- Experience with ambiguity and ability to build prototypes in new industry verticals.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build robust classical ML and generative AI solutions.
- Design and maintain evaluation frameworks to measure AI quality, reliability, and safety.
- Partner with full-stack developers to integrate AI into client web and mobile applications.
- Refine prompts and system architectures to optimize for latency, cost, and accuracy.
- Clean and process client data to fine-tune custom predictive algorithms.
- Participate in client discovery sessions and translate requirements into technical scopes.
