Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven track record of leading technical projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong product and design intuition with experience building interfaces independently.
- Deep expertise in Python, Django models, and Django REST Framework.
- Robust experience with modern React, React Query, and TypeScript.
- Strong experience writing optimized database queries, designing schemas, and managing migrations.
- Experience utilizing Claude and Claude Code for coding, testing, and refactoring.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in healthcare technology or HIPAA compliance is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with React Native is preferred.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP or AWS is preferred.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, Celery, or message brokers is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical discovery, scoping, and execution of complex features in collaboration with Product, Design, and QA.
- Own features end-to-end, breaking down large initiatives into actionable milestones.
- Build and maintain high-performance frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and React Query.
- Support and contribute to React Native mobile applications.
- Design, build, and optimize robust REST APIs using Django REST Framework.
- Develop and evolve clean database models, schemas, and complex migrations.
- Leverage LLMs and AI tooling like Claude and Claude Code to accelerate development workflows.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and scale production services deployed via Kubernetes on GCP.
