Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience building and operating production backend systems.
- Recent experience with AI-powered services and automation workflows in high-availability environments.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience building and maintaining large-scale Python codebases.
- Deep understanding of concurrency, scalability, reliability, and distributed systems patterns.
- Hands-on experience with async or event-driven architectures.
- Experience designing and operating high-scale REST and/or gRPC APIs.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and production deployments.
- Experience building and shipping AI-powered systems beyond prototypes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate backend systems that power agent-driven care orchestration workflows.
- Ship and maintain production-grade AI systems with strict reliability, latency, and correctness requirements.
- Contribute to architectural design, emphasizing modularity, scalability, and integration with EMRs and data systems.
- Ensure high performance and fault tolerance across backend services and AI inference pipelines.
- Implement best practices for CI/CD, testing, observability, and production deployment.
- Partner with data scientists, product managers, and clinical experts to solve complex technical problems.
- Mentor engineers, set technical standards, and lead incident resolution through on-call rotations.
