10+ years of relevant work experience with a relevant Master's degree, or 7+ years with a relevant PhD.
2-5 years of experience directly managing a team of data scientists, ideally in a startup environment.
3+ years of startup experience.
Proven track record of solving complex, high-profile business problems with DS/ML solutions.
Experience communicating outcomes and progress to senior management and stakeholders.
Strong end-to-end data science development skills, including planning, defining success metrics, and delivery.
Deep practical machine learning and statistics knowledge.
Experience writing production-ready code and tests.
Interest in developing deep domain expertise in fraud and identity verification.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment solving varied, high-impact, open-ended problems.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Directly manage and grow a team of data scientists from 2-3 up to 5-6 members.
Act as a technical mentor providing deep-dive guidance and direction.
Lead planning, resourcing, and communication with senior leadership, product, and engineering teams.
Develop and maintain fraud detection models across the full development lifecycle, from data acquisition to monitoring.
Research emerging fraud types and develop new identity verification products.
Write production-ready code for real-time decision making.
Design and present analyses to inform product development, risk operations, marketing, and sales.
