Requirements
- Experienced product manager with prior focus on internal technical products, developer tools, data/ML platforms, and/or ads and content ranking.
- Deeply analytical and highly technical background with understanding of the machine learning lifecycle (training, inference, deployment, monitoring).
- Genuine passion for machine learning and AI.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to translate technical constraints into actionable roadmaps.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business stakeholders.
- Prior professional experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or Backend Software Engineer preferred.
- Understanding of the Ad Tech ecosystem (bidding, ranking, targeting) preferred.
- Experience implementing systems that support Generative AI/LLM workflows preferred.
Responsibilities
- Shape the long-term strategy and roadmap for Reddit’s Ads ML platform.
- Build products and tooling to reduce friction for ML engineers and data scientists.
- Partner with Engineering, Data Science, and Ads Product teams to deliver scalable infrastructure.
- Own key performance indicators for platform reliability, latency, cost-efficiency, and developer productivity.
- Stay current with ML research and emerging architectures to apply them to the platform.
- Conduct user research with internal stakeholders to convert technical pain points into precise product requirements.
