Requirements
- 5+ years of software product management experience in SaaS, or relevant experience in document management or search/AI infrastructure.
- Demonstrated technical fluency to engage on topics like document pipelines, full-text and vector search, and content extraction.
- Experience managing platform or shared-service products in complex multi-team environments.
- Ability to drive consensus, navigate competing priorities, and manage cross-team migrations.
- Strong analytical skills with experience tracking product outcomes like adoption and accuracy.
- Experience working within Agile/Lean delivery frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical tradeoffs to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience shipping data-heavy or AI/ML-adjacent features at scale.
Responsibilities
- Define the platform vision and develop a comprehensive understanding of architecture to create a prioritized roadmap.
- Partner with platform engineers to define requirements for OCR, chunking, indexing, and vector storage.
- Drive efficiency and consistency across backend infrastructure and data science teams.
- Own the adoption and migration strategy for platform functionality across peer teams.
- Monitor and optimize performance, latency, cost-to-serve, and AI outcomes like search precision/recall.
- Build organizational awareness of platform capabilities and mentor junior product managers.
