Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in project management within telecommunications, fiber infrastructure, or related technical services environments
  • Strong understanding of fiber networks, including lit services, dark fiber, Ethernet, waves, and related connectivity solutions
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects with external customer engagement
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across internal and external teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in risk management and conflict resolution
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity with fiber engineering, outside plant operations, permitting, construction, and field deployment processes
  • Proficiency in project management tools, reporting dashboards, and performance tracking systems
  • Self-driven mindset with strong ownership, accountability, and customer advocacy orientation

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for lit and dark fiber services, including kickoff, planning, execution, and closure
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and milestones while ensuring alignment with contractual and technical requirements
  • Serve as the primary customer-facing point of contact, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and issue resolution
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, network operations, sales, procurement, and field services
  • Develop, maintain, and track detailed project plans, schedules, and dependencies across multiple concurrent projects
  • Monitor and report on project performance metrics, KPIs, and service delivery outcomes for internal and customer business reviews
  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and issues while implementing mitigation strategies
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with outside plant and operational teams
  • Drive continuous improvement by refining processes, reporting tools, and project management methodologies
