Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience building, managing, moderating, or growing online communities, with demonstrated impact and measurable results.
  • Hands-on experience using community engagement platforms such as Discord, Reddit, Discourse, or similar ecosystems.
  • Strong project ownership and organizational skills, with the ability to independently manage initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Excellent written communication skills in English, with the ability to create engaging content tailored to technical audiences.
  • Genuine interest in technology, developer tools, AI, software development, or related technical fields.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across distributed teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience collecting and translating community feedback into actionable insights for product and business teams.
  • Comfortable learning new technologies quickly and engaging credibly with developers on technical topics.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and modern productivity technologies is highly desirable.
  • Experience managing technical communities, organizing events, moderating discussions, public speaking, webinar hosting, or delivering product demonstrations is considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Foster engagement and nurture relationships across developer communities on platforms such as Discord, Reddit, forums, and other community-managed channels.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute community programs including webinars, office hours, contests, workshops, giveaways, and educational events.
  • Communicate product updates, feature releases, announcements, and relevant information to keep community members informed and engaged.
  • Support developers throughout their journey by providing guidance on onboarding, platform usage, best practices, monetization opportunities, and troubleshooting.
  • Gather feedback, insights, and community sentiment through conversations, events, and direct interactions, and share actionable recommendations with internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor community health, engagement metrics, and participation trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Developer Relations, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Social Media teams to align community initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Assist with the organization and execution of regional meetups, conferences, and in-person community events when required.
