Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
- 5 - 7 years of progressive and related financial accounting and ERP system experience.
- Experience working with Deltek Vision or VantagePoint accounting software.
- Job Cost Accounting experience.
- Expert Microsoft Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Flexibility and willingness to work on various projects and tasks.
- Experience in Vision or Vantagepoint migrations (preferred).
- Project billing or accounting experience within the engineering industry (preferred).
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Identify business requirements of new merger organizations and collaborate with IT and consultants for data migration.
- Provide training on Deltek Vantagepoint to new team members during migration and provide on-site support at Go-Live.
- Update and maintain organizational training materials and processes for Vantagepoint transactions and functionalities.
- Attend weekly migration meetings with consultants and the company system conversion team.
- Manage weekly data migration action items in coordination with consultants and merger teams.
- Engage with functional teams to ensure operational readiness for system Go-Live.
- Provide focused support to new teams through at least two month-end close cycles.
- Troubleshoot finance processes and system issues in partnership with IT and consultants.
