Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in economics, business administration, mathematics/statistics, finance or other quantitative discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Related experience in insurance product management preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of SQL or Python is highly desired.
- Well-organized with strong attention to detail.
- Desire to solve problems, think analytically, and move quickly to build new programs.
- High degree of flexibility and comfort responding to changing business needs.
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work as a team player to deliver results effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analyses of business results, marketplace trends, and new market opportunities.
- Create data-driven recommendations based on analyses and business objectives.
- Assist Product Manager on managing daily operations, including carrier questions and DOI inquiries.
- Design new product enhancements and build required product documentation for internal use and DOI filings.
- Conduct annual rate proposals to ensure rate adequacy and effective pricing segmentation.
- Conduct post-implementation quality control and results evaluation for new launches.
- Coordinate with internal operations, IT, and sales teams to resolve issues.
