Requirements

  • 5+ years in product management with at least 3 years in payments, fintech, or B2B SaaS.
  • Demonstrated experience taking a product into a new market or geography through to adoption.
  • Hands-on product owner experience managing Jira backlogs, writing user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong understanding of payment localization: local payment methods, processor integrations, and regulatory compliance.
  • GTM instincts with experience leading or supporting a product launch in a new market.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and defining roadmaps from scratch.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience defining and tracking success metrics.
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience updating stakeholders.
  • Fluent with AI tools for market research, spec drafting, and synthesis.

Responsibilities

  • Own the international expansion roadmap for Merchant Central, phased by market: Canada first, then UK/EU.
  • Lead the integration of new strategic processors into Merchant Central end-to-end, partnering with Engineering on API specs and configurations.
  • Research and document market requirements for new geographies, including payment methods, regulations, currency, and data residency.
  • Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and bug reports while managing the product backlog.
  • Run or participate in sprint ceremonies and maintain delivery visibility for the roadmap.
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies, including positioning, partner messaging, and launch readiness.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to develop external content and build competitive intelligence.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Finance on licensing, privacy, and operational requirements.
  • Define and track success metrics such as partner adoption, merchant volume, and onboarding rates.
