Requirements

  • BSc/MA in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Math, Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Engineering.
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in a quantitative data analysis role involving user behavior and large data sets.
  • Expertise in statistics, particularly hypothesis testing and experiment design.
  • Advanced experience with SQL.
  • Expertise in using R and Python for data analysis.
  • Experience analyzing A/B tests and advanced methods like difference-in-difference or regression discontinuity.
  • Experience building predictive models and causal inference models.
  • Proven success supporting or making business decisions based on data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills for simplifying complex topics for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with Bayesian modeling methods is a plus.
  • Experience with Marketing Mix Models and Multi-Touch Attribution is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the marketing team to find and test data-driven ideas for improving efficiency.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain marketing models including Bayesian Marketing Mix Models and Multi-Touch Attribution models.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing uplift tests with statistical rigor to drive marketing decisions.
  • Solve complex problems by creating testable models and algorithms with measurable business impact.
  • Present data and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
