Requirements
- Proven experience building, launching, and scaling data- or insights-driven businesses, including 0-to-1 product or business creation experience.
- Deep understanding of data commercialization, analytics products, AI-powered solutions, and insight-based business models.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical R&D, diagnostics development, life sciences, biotechnology, or related healthcare sectors.
- Demonstrated success in evaluating market opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, and driving business growth.
- Strong product leadership capabilities with an understanding of data platforms, AI technologies, and modern technical architectures.
- Fluency in AI, machine learning, and emerging agentic technologies.
- Understanding of biological data types, genomics, multiomics, or related scientific domains.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations related to biomedical data and healthcare insights products.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, building new organizations, and managing complex strategic initiatives.
- Strong background in partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, business development, and integration activities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the strategic vision for new data, insights, and AI-enabled business opportunities within the life sciences ecosystem.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging market opportunities that leverage large-scale biological datasets and advanced analytics capabilities.
- Develop business cases and investment proposals, translating innovative concepts into actionable growth initiatives and commercial strategies.
- Drive the creation and execution of new products, services, and business models that deliver valuable insights to pharmaceutical, diagnostics, and healthcare stakeholders.
- Collaborate across scientific, technical, product, commercial, and executive teams to align resources and accelerate execution.
- Evaluate and pursue strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and external collaborations that strengthen capabilities and accelerate growth.
- Present business strategies, investment plans, and progress updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Build and lead high-performing teams while establishing new functions, processes, and operational frameworks.
