Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in integration engineering, middleware development, or enterprise automation roles.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience working extensively with Workato in production environments.
- Strong expertise in integrating CRM/ERP systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and NetSuite.
- Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, webhooks, and OAuth 2.0 authentication.
- Proficiency in SQL and basic scripting (Python, JavaScript, or Ruby) for data transformation and automation logic.
- Experience managing full integration lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment, and support).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with experience handling high-volume and complex data pipelines.
- Familiarity with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Celigo is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain advanced Workato recipes using conditional logic, lookup tables, error handling, and multi-step workflows.
- Develop and manage custom connectors using HTTP/SDK to integrate legacy and proprietary systems.
- Implement event-driven, webhook-based, and scheduled integrations optimized for high-volume and real-time data processing.
- Build and maintain bidirectional data flows across HubSpot, Salesforce, NetSuite, and other enterprise platforms.
- Automate key business processes such as lead-to-cash, opportunity-to-order, and master data synchronization.
- Diagnose and resolve integration failures, including API issues, payload errors, and system latency challenges.
- Implement robust monitoring, retry mechanisms, and alerting frameworks to ensure system reliability and uptime.
- Maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, mapping specifications, and operational runbooks.
