Requirements
- Must be a practicing clinician or clinical academic.
- Experience using real-world data (RWD) for outcomes research.
- Knowledge or experience in cancer/oncology research is highly desirable.
- Experience evaluating the ethics of research studies, or a strong interest in this process.
- Ability to commit to approximately five hours per calendar month.
- Passionate about improving cancer care and research through transparent data use.
- Strong collaborative skills for working with internal and external committee members.
Responsibilities
- Attend regular monthly committee meetings to review research applications.
- Review and assess new and existing data access requests by external researchers.
- Provide constructive feedback to researchers on data access applications.
- Conduct reviews both during meetings and asynchronously as required.
- Approve summaries of meeting decisions and outcomes for public publication.
