Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a senior or staff-level track record.
- Strong backend engineering on the JVM (Kotlin, Java, or Scala in production).
- Solid TypeScript experience on the frontend (React, Angular, or similar).
- Solid cloud infrastructure fundamentals, including networking, IAM, compute, and managed services.
- Architecture experience designing non-trivial systems and defending trade-offs.
- Fluency in English for daily communication with business users and engineers.
- Fluency in Polish (C1 level required).
- Strongly preferred: Experience using AI-native development tools like Claude Code or Cursor.
- Strongly preferred: Production-level AWS experience (VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda/ECS).
- Strongly preferred: IaC experience (Pulumi, Terraform, or CDK).
- Strongly preferred: Background in regulated or transactional domains like fintech, healthcare, or billing.
Responsibilities
- Design and build the core platform including event processing for money math, plan configuration, and eligibility rules.
- Own vertical slices end-to-end, including AWS infrastructure, Kotlin backend, and TypeScript frontend development.
- Act as a thought partner on architectural decisions, including IaC choices and service boundaries.
- Interview internal subject-matter experts to translate complex domain knowledge into functional software.
- Set the standard for AI-native engineering practices, including the use of AI agents and coding tools.
