Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of strong working knowledge of SQL and understanding of data models.
- 6+ years of experience with relational database design and programming (PostgreSQL, MySQL, PL/pgSQL).
- Experience managing AWS Data Infrastructure (S3, RDS, Kafka, Lake Formation, Glue, Athena, Quicksight).
- Proficiency in systems engineering and software development (Java, Javascript, Python).
- Experience with modern API platform design, security practices, event-driven architecture, and change data capture.
- Must be available to work standard business hours with occasional nights/weekends.
- Ability to travel to Denver headquarters approximately three times per year.
Responsibilities
- Partner with architect and engineering teams to design and build extensible, scalable data platform capabilities.
- Implement processes and tools to enable product engineering and BI/Analytics teams to consume the platform securely.
- Ensure all data platform solutions adhere to security, compliance, and regulatory controls.
- Maintain software services code and configuration while recommending architectural improvements.
- Develop and improve data pipelines and implement new technologies for future deployment.
- Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfers, and mentorship on data platform adoption.
