Requirements
- Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian-based distributions).
- Experience building Docker images and running associated CI jobs.
- Hands-on experience with scripting, system configuration, and installation.
- Expertise in network security, including firewall configuration and security policies.
- Organized approach with a focus on comprehensive documentation.
- Experience using collaboration and management tools such as Google Workspace and Atlassian.
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfortable collaborating with other engineers and supporting colleagues.
- Keep it simple engineering mindset.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support the management of existing physical development servers running Linux and MacOS.
- Collaborate with technical leadership to implement a scalable server, network, and storage strategy.
- Install and manage industry-specific tooling and computing cluster job configurations.
- Develop and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks.
- Support the management of network infrastructure and IT security across the company.
- Maintain and develop comprehensive environment documentation.
- Procure new equipment and hardware through supplier coordination.
- Provide technical IT support for internal queries.
- Maintain security certifications including Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001.
