Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience.
- Prior experience as a product design contractor or embedded designer.
- Proven ability to execute independently in fast-moving product teams.
- Strong judgment around design fidelity versus time constraints.
- Comfortable working within constraints and evolving systems.
- Confident collaborating with Engineering in async environments.
- Clear, concise communication skills with the ability to surface issues early.
Responsibilities
- Independently execute on clearly defined product requirements with minimal direction.
- Translate well-framed problems into build-ready UX that Engineering can confidently implement.
- Design user flows, states, and interaction details in Figma at the appropriate fidelity.
- Ensure designs meet established quality bars for clarity, completeness, and usability.
- Work within an existing or evolving design system and follow established patterns.
- Proactively identify gaps, edge cases, and assumptions, resolving or escalating them as needed.
- Partner closely with Engineering to unblock implementation while minimizing back-and-forth.
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly and proactively.
- Document designs and decisions to support smooth handoff and long-term continuity.
