Requirements
- Strong technical background or professional track record.
- 2+ years of industry experience building proxy, fingerprinting, or unblocking services.
- Strong skills in developing and debugging with TypeScript/Node.js.
- Ability to learn new languages quickly if coming from an equivalent backend background.
- Familiarity with Linux.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Experiment-driven and collaborative mindset.
- Experience with AWS or other public clouds is a nice-to-have.
- Experience with mentioned tech stack components is a nice-to-have.
Responsibilities
- Build robots that behave and act like real users to automate human activities on the web.
- Work in a small cross-functional team with other experienced developers.
- Expand the capabilities of Apify Proxy by adding more protocols and underlying providers.
- Implement internal unblocking capabilities to bypass anti-scraping systems.
- Research existing anti-scraping services and implement new internal services using browser fingerprinting and session management.
- Contribute to open-source libraries like proxy-chain and impit.
