Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in test automation
- Proficiency in Java (or other languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C#)
- Hands-on experience with Appium or a similar automation framework
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman and GraphiQL
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Docker, Jenkins)
- Ability to design effective, maintainable, and scalable automated test cases
- Understanding of HTTP and client-server communication and troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Experience working with log analysis and monitoring tools (Grafana, Graylog)
- Understanding of software design patterns and testing best practices
- Familiarity with TestRail, JIRA, or Confluence
- English proficiency at B1 level or higher
Responsibilities
- Independently build and launch the automation testing process from scratch for mobile products using Appium
- Design, scale, and maintain a reliable and reusable automation testing framework
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Collaborate with QA engineers to define automation priorities and improve testing quality
- Develop, maintain, and improve automated tests based on project requirements
- Assess testing risks and define automation coverage and approaches
- Prepare clear and transparent reports on automated test execution and results
- Drive the adoption of automation testing by mentoring QA engineers and promoting best practices
- Perform manual testing tasks when necessary
