Requirements
- Degree from an accredited university as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Currently board certified by ANCC or AANP (Family, Adult, or Adult Gerontology).
- At least 2-3 years of practice post-residency.
- General practice experience, including obesity medicine.
- 1+ years of telemedicine experience, including sync and async practice.
- Must have at least 2-3 active state licenses.
- Proficiency in Zoom, Google Workspace (G Cal), and Slack.
- Availability of 10-15 hours/week, with at least 8 hours/week for synchronous visits.
- Availability of 2-4 hours daily, Monday through Friday.
- Operating system: Mac OS 26.0+ or Windows 11 with at least 16GB memory (no Chrome OS).
Responsibilities
- Build a patient panel with continuity of care.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered clinical care using the Weight Watchers Med+ telehealth platform.
- Review and discuss patient intake information and medical history through video and chat consultations.
- Maintain ongoing clinician-patient relationships through regular treatment evaluations and progress check-ins.
- Educate patients on scientific principles of obesity, treatment options, and lifestyle adjustments.
