Requirements
- B.S. in Engineering discipline (ideally Mechanical Engineering).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role.
- Experience with ISO 9001 quality management system audits.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as AS9100, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949.
- Ability to travel 30% annually, domestically and internationally.
- Proven experience working in a quickly scaling organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Results-oriented, data-driven, and self-directed work approach.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs).
- Own the end-to-end Supplier Quality program, including onboarding and performance monitoring.
- Steward the QMS to ensure regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Manage internal and external audits to ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
- Establish and lead a comprehensive Safety Management Program across US and Mexico facilities.
- Act as the US OSHA subject matter expert and oversee incident investigations.
- Oversee QC lab operations and equipment calibration.
