Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS across compute, networking, and serverless services
- Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred)
- Strong proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments (EKS preferred)
- Solid understanding of containerisation and orchestration concepts
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting in production systems
- Experience working with centralized observability platforms (e.g. Splunk, Datadog, ELK, or similar)
- Strong understanding of system reliability, scalability, and production operations
- Experience working across both Linux and Windows environments
- Hands-on experience building AMIs using Packer and configuration tools such as Ansible
- Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure, improving scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency across environments
- Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) across application, data, and infrastructure layers
- Build and maintain Kubernetes (EKS) workloads, including deployments, scaling, and production troubleshooting
- Work across a wide range of AWS services, including compute, networking, and event-driven systems
- Manage and optimise data services such as RDS (PostgreSQL) and ClickHouse
- Automate infrastructure and environment setup using Packer and Ansible
- Implement and improve observability using CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, and centralized logging tools
- Apply security best practices including IAM, KMS, and Secrets Manager
- Support incident response and continuous improvement of production systems
