Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, or Master's degree and 3 years of experience in grant management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-million-dollar grant programs in developing countries.
  • Experience working with USAID, U.S. Department of State, or other donor agencies.
  • Strong proficiency in writing and editing guidance documents, procedures, and policies.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, Outlook).
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Visio, and data analytic tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to travel internationally (2-3 times during base period, 6-10 days per trip).
  • Must be able to obtain a facility access authorization/employment authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Review and update Program Grants Guidelines (PGG) incorporating international best practices.
  • Develop and maintain grants management policies, operating guidelines, and research support.
  • Ensure institutional compliance with MCC and U.S. government regulations and statutes.
  • Provide strategic advice and operational support for grants issued under Compact or Threshold programs.
  • Develop and conduct grant training programs for Millennium Challenge Accounts (MCAs) and grantees.
  • Create tools and templates for the Grants Toolkit.
  • Monitor grant implementation in MCA countries, including budget preparation, procedures, and closeout processes.
