Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, or Master's degree and 3 years of experience in grant management.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-million-dollar grant programs in developing countries.
- Experience working with USAID, U.S. Department of State, or other donor agencies.
- Strong proficiency in writing and editing guidance documents, procedures, and policies.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, Outlook).
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Visio, and data analytic tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Ability to travel internationally (2-3 times during base period, 6-10 days per trip).
- Must be able to obtain a facility access authorization/employment authorization.
Responsibilities
- Review and update Program Grants Guidelines (PGG) incorporating international best practices.
- Develop and maintain grants management policies, operating guidelines, and research support.
- Ensure institutional compliance with MCC and U.S. government regulations and statutes.
- Provide strategic advice and operational support for grants issued under Compact or Threshold programs.
- Develop and conduct grant training programs for Millennium Challenge Accounts (MCAs) and grantees.
- Create tools and templates for the Grants Toolkit.
- Monitor grant implementation in MCA countries, including budget preparation, procedures, and closeout processes.
