Requirements
- Expert-level Linux administration (preferably Debian/Ubuntu).
- Strong MAAS / Ironic / bare-metal automation experience.
- Excellent networking fundamentals including VLANs, routing, and VPNs.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Ansible) and scripting (Bash/Python).
- Experience with GitOps workflows.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/Graylog.
- Familiarity with PXE, Preseed, and Cloud-init.
- Proven experience with OpenStack, Proxmox, VMware, and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with firewall rules, access control, and security policies.
- Experience with Cloudflare API for DNS and tunnel setups.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support core infrastructure systems with focus on Linux (Debian/Ubuntu).
- Manage hardware-level components including BIOS, IPMI, RAID, and diagnostics.
- Design and maintain scalable networks using VLANs, L2/L3 routing, VPNs, and UniFi equipment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations with Ansible, Bash, Python, and Git-based workflows.
- Set up and manage observability stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/Graylog/Loki.
- Build tooling for server discovery, OS deployment, and MAAS-based provisioning.
- Integrate and develop internal/external APIs for compute, GPU resource allocation, and billing.
- Deploy and maintain virtualization and orchestration systems such as OpenStack, Proxmox VE, or VMware ESXi.
