Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or related roles.
- Must have an approved DoD 8140 cyber-related certification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Experience with security event monitoring and incident response.
- Proficiency in digital forensics and malware analysis.
- Familiarity with SOC operations and threat triage.
- Ability to document case information for legal proceedings.
- Knowledge of intrusion detection and policy violation analysis.
Responsibilities
- Execute forensics analyses using specialized technologies to collect computer evidence.
- Restore data such as documents, photos, and emails from hard drives that have been deleted, damaged, or manipulated.
- Present investigation results and provide evidence for legal proceedings.
- Manage investigation processes including analysis, documentation, and evidence handling.
- Confirm that policies, procedures, and processes related to forensic functions are updated.
- Support security event monitoring, triage, and incident response.
- Conduct Cyber Hunt, digital forensics, and malware reverse engineering activities.
- Intake, triage, and process new incidents while recommending countermeasures.
