Requirements
- Senior level experience on a high-performing engineering team with increasingly impactful accomplishments
- Demonstrated full-stack experience with Python and Django
- Demonstrated full-stack experience with NextJS, React, and Typescript
- Hands-on experience in metrics instrumentation and data-driven performance tuning
- Experience using tools like Datadog for monitoring and observability
- Experience designing, using, and expanding backend APIs and data models
- Experience proposing improvements, experimenting, and iterating on existing systems
Responsibilities
- Own large, merchant-facing features from inception to completion
- Collaborate with the product, go-to-market, and design teams to set the direction of the merchant experience
- Collaborate on code reviews and technical design documents to ensure the consistent application of best practices
- Actively contribute to building the team’s architectural vision and technical roadmap
- Drive engineering excellence through best practices in testing, monitoring, observability, and performance optimization
