Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
- Proven experience processing hourly payroll in ADP Workforce Now across multiple states.
- Experience administering employee benefit programs and maintaining vendor relationships.
- Strong understanding of payroll tax, garnishment, ACA compliance, and benefits regulations.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort with change, ambiguity, and a positive, curious attitude.
- Preferred: Experience with Deel contractor platform and international payroll.
- Preferred: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC), or similar certification.
Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly U.S. hourly payroll using ADP Workforce Now ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Manage full contractor lifecycle including recordkeeping and payments via Deel.
- Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, and voluntary plans.
- Configure and manage annual Open Enrollment and resolve benefit carrier discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute annual ACA reporting and manage state-mandated leave tracking.
- Maintain data integrity across payroll and HRIS systems and generate periodic reports.
- Support system implementations and process improvement initiatives through automation.
