Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Proven expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Snowflake, dbt, and Python.
- Deep understanding of data warehouse architecture, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Experience with cloud-native architecture and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitHub.
- Ability to work in a player-coach capacity collaborating on architectural solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions across AWS and Azure.
- Define and enforce data engineering standards, best practices, and architectural patterns.
- Manage ELT pipelines and optimize data workflows using Apache Airflow, Snowflake, and dbt.
- Manage schema evolution and develop data models to support efficient storage and retrieval.
- Implement and maintain robust data governance, security, and quality frameworks.
- Act as a subject matter expert, addressing technical inquiries and providing strategic guidance.
- Engage with global teams to drive consistent implementation and knowledge sharing.
