Requirements
- Reside within the Central Time Zone (Chicago, Dallas, or Austin preferred).
- Exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.
- Deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.
- Proficiency in building application prototypes using Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.
- Firm grasp of operational considerations in production environments (security, reliability, performance, cost management).
- Ability to provide insightful advice on architectural topics and application patterns.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with development/production services.
- Serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with prospects to determine if their applications fit Temporal’s platform well.
- Educate customers and prospects on the technical benefits and limitations of Temporal’s platform and cloud service.
- Position Temporal as a leading solution against competing technologies and architectural patterns.
- Foster an environment within customer engineering organizations to increase the adoption and expansion of Temporal in production environments.
- Partner closely with Account Executives to develop and execute comprehensive account plans.
- Manage and nurture relationships with technical decision-makers at customer organizations to ensure they fully leverage Temporal’s capabilities.
