Requirements
- Experience in building and applying ML systems using frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Experience in developing training data processing pipelines for image data or complex data types like proteomics.
- Practical understanding of the MLOps lifecycle including training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Excellent proficiency in Python.
- Strong software engineering skills, including writing high-performance, modern, and reliable code.
- Experience writing documentation, unit tests, and following code quality best practices.
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, or JavaScript is appreciated.
- Familiarity with experiment-tracking platforms like Weights & Biases or MLflow.
- Exposure to processing platforms such as Kubeflow.
- Background in computer vision with tools like OpenCV.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud computing infrastructure.
- Experience working in regulated environments under predefined regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve internal ML tooling.
- Transform early-stage prototype workflows into scalable, compliant production solutions.
- Implement state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms in modern medical research.
- Enhance existing tools, add functionality, and resolve issues.
- Increase test coverage and improve project documentation.
- Ensure developed tooling and processes meet required compliance standards.
