Requirements
- Production experience designing and delivering AI systems (LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows).
- Non-dogmatic understanding of AI technology boundaries and architectural trade-offs.
- Proven client-facing capability in discovery, scoping, and presenting to executive/technical audiences.
- Consultancy mindset viewing discovery and analysis as key value drivers.
- Team leadership experience (3–5+ people) with evidence of growing team members.
- Experience operating in matrix or federated organizations without direct authority.
- Pragmatic R&D skills including bounded research plans and ROI discipline.
- Data architecture literacy (ETL patterns, vector databases, data governance) preferred.
- Broader AI/ML background beyond GenAI (classical ML, deep learning, CV, NLP) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery and solution design for AI opportunities.
- Produce solution-grade proposals including architecture, scope, and risk assessment.
- Present solutions to clients and partner with BizDev on positioning.
- Stand up and operate the AI Studio as a platform for AI-heavy work.
- Deliver projects across various models such as full ownership, component delivery, or advisory.
- Hire and build a team of AI engineers, defining team composition and career paths.
- Lead pragmatic R&D initiatives with clear objectives.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and L&D to integrate Studio work across the organization.
