Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the banking or financial industry.
- Expertise in data modeling techniques.
- Strategic thinking and an architectural approach.
- Deep understanding of Data Governance Frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM).
- Expertise in Data Quality, Master Data, Metadata, and Data Security.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify and solve complex data management issues.
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements (BCBS 239, GDPR).
- Ability to translate complex data concepts into business-friendly language.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies in a data environment.
Responsibilities
- Design target architecture, including data models and requirements for their description.
- Build data flow maps from source systems to reporting to ensure transparency of data origin.
- Perform data profiling and analysis of source systems.
- Formulate conclusions to support data end-use.
- Use metadata repositories to perform data and system integration impact analysis.
- Define data exchange principles (ETL/ELT, Kafka, REST API) with a focus on data integrity.
- Implement Data Quality Management (DQM) rules, monitoring, and controls.
- Implement Data Governance controls in business processes and systems.
- Identify data-related risks and develop minimization plans.
- Implement KPIs and OKRs for the Data Governance program.
