Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer working with large-scale data platforms.
- 2+ years of previous Software Engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, warehousing, and analytical data architecture.
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery (partitioning, clustering, optimization).
- Strong SQL skills (Google SQL).
- Proficiency in Python, Pandas, and PySpark.
- Experience with ClickHouse architecture and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of GCP services (Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, DataForm, IAM).
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and automated deployments.
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and data validation.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, cloud-native data architectures in BigQuery.
- Build, automate, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Create and optimize business-critical data marts and analytical datasets.
- Implement data quality frameworks, monitoring systems, and alerting.
- Improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of production data infrastructure.
- Partner with Data Science teams to build data services and pipelines for ML.
- Collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver data solutions.
