Requirements
- Significant Product Management experience, including leading product strategy across multiple teams or complex technical workflows.
- Experience directly managing Product Managers, including coaching, feedback, performance management, hiring, and career development.
- Strong technical fluency in infrastructure, cloud platforms, observability, telemetry, data pipelines, or high-scale databases.
- Strong product instincts regarding AI in technical products for developers, operators, or SREs.
- Strong customer empathy and ability to translate complex problems into clear product strategy.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills to influence Engineering, Design, Marketing, and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively in a globally distributed, remote-first environment.
- BS/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the product vision and strategy for Data Collection, Transformation, and Ingestion as a core platform capability for Grafana Cloud.
- Partner closely with senior R&D leaders to align product and technical strategy, make clear tradeoffs, and ensure roadmap balance.
- Use customer research, product analytics, and competitive insight to identify high-impact problems.
- Define how AI influences instrumentation, configuration, cost control, and query efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with customers, prospects, and technical buyers.
- Coach and develop a team of Product Managers to strengthen their strategic thinking and execution.
- Create a high-accountability, high-trust environment across cross-functional teams.
